My philosophy

 An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and good health is easier to maintain than it is to recover! 

 The vast majority of our health complications are directly related to our modern lifestyles. Conditions such as Type 2 Diabetes can be escalating for years before symptoms appear. This is why we need to be more proactive with our health, rather than reactive towards sickness.

While modern life offers many conveniences,  it has come at a cost to both our physical and mental wellbeing. We have evolved to thrive under very different conditions to those we face today. The radical changes to our environment and lifestyle have led to  the surge in lifestyle-related diseases such as obesity, autoimmune conditions, heart disease, depression, cancer, type 2 diabetes and other metabolic conditions. 

In what seems like the blink of an eye, we have become overfed, sedentary, sunlight-deficient, sleep-deprived, chronically stressed, and more socially-isolated.

Despite the wonders of modern medicine, chronic lifestyle-related diseases continue to rise, affecting people at increasingly younger ages.  This is why I specialise in using lifestyle interventions to tackle the root cause of poor health- not just the symptoms!

In the fight against the rising tide of chronic disease and symptoms,  working with a health coach to prevent poor health has become more important than ever. Everybody should have a health coach on their team, because the most effective healthcare starts way before the symptoms do.

My  priority is to immerse you in exercise that feels good for you. With over 20 years experience in a variety of movement practices, I will stimulate and engage your your mind and your body, with creative and challenging exercise, to help improve your strength, flexibility, performance, appearance and much more.

As a Registered Osteopath and and experienced Sports Therapist I provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and treatment of:

I treat infants through to adults with a variety of gentle ‘hands on’ osteopathic techniques, that may include Joint Mobilisation, Spinal Manipulation,  Dry Needling, Breathwork, and Osteopathic Massage Techniques, I also provide a Sports Massage service.
